2020 PEC Challenge Tournament ROUND OF 32 DAY 1

Everything might be closed but the tournament rolls on.  We're going to be doing 2 days of voting for the Round of 32, with Red Bank Green and Jersey Shore regions voting today, and Central Jersey and Exotics voting tomorrow.  Results will be released Friday!

Red Bank Green Region

#1 Johnny Pork Roll v. #9. Bagel Station

After vanquishing one classic Red Bank bagel shop, Johnny's faces off with another bagel challenger in Round 2.  

#12 Gem's Middletown v. #13 Willow Deli

Two huge upsets that weren't even close to losing their first-round matchup.  This is the only Gem's location left in the tournament.  

#6 Marta's Deli v. #3 Inbetween Cafe

Marta's Deli is a West Side Red Bank standout against longtime Red Bank luncheonette Inbetween Cafe.

#7 Valdetino's v. #2. Bagelmasters 

Local newcomer Valdetino's squares off against longtime Shrewsbury favorite, Bagelmasters.

Jersey Shore Region

#1 Fairwinds Deli v. #8 Slater's Deli

A tough matchup for Fairwinds Deli in round 2 against Slater's Deli who might have the most pork roll on a sandwich record. 

#12 Joe's Bagel v. #4. Brennan's Rumson

Could Joe's make a cinderella run or will Brennan's squash the dream?

#6 Sonny's Sandwiches v. #3 Allenwood General Store

Primed to be an extremely close matchup. 

#7 Butler's Deli v. #15 Brennan's Middletown

Brennan's Middletown shocked the world when it upset #2 Beckman's Deli.  Can it continue onto the Sweet Sixteen?
